Scriptures are also pretty clear that we are being transformed by the renewing of our minds. Though these scriptures seem harsh, when put together with other new testament passages it is pretty clear that this is the standard by which we live by, but it's not achieved over night. The fact that you care shows your a child of God.

Yes, Joe, I agree! God is not going to throw you away because your heart is having trouble loving someone! But God has set a high standard for us to live by. And we certainly do NOT get there easily! Sometimes we have been hurt so badly, that it can be difficult to get past! But God encourages us to love our enemies! There have been times when my forgiveness to those who hurt me (and my family), on purpose did not come easy! But the work that is being done in me is God's work, not mine! HE is faithful to complete it! We could never do it on our own!

OK, I already know that you're in school in the natural just from Beenup2. But I really sense that you're made for the business world. I see you working in production of some kind and even working on TV sets. Like you're the behind the scenes girl. "Production" is the word I keep getting. Working in production. YOu have a high level of confidence and joy that brings you favor outside the four walls of the church. Also, I feel like with whatever you're doing right now God is saying "you're on the right track", you're right where He wants you and there's an excitement about the future and doors that are going to open for you as you follow this path you are on. Good stuff!

what is the context of the verse inga? I do agree that we as children of god need to practice righteousness. but what is the point he is trying to tell us? what does the rest of the chapter say? it should give a salution. and i encourage you, to ask the holy spirit! what is he telling you? it is VERY, VERY,VERY IMPORTANT, that you get the holy spirits interpretation. Yes seek wise council, proverbs chapter 1 verse 5. But take, as well take it to the holy spirit for he seeks the heart of god, and knows ALL. meditate on this verse. dont be scared that u dont know it at first. but study it....even if it takes you a year! study it and know it till it becoms you. I also encourage u to study who john was and is. make him a alliance in your circle of friends! he has left a lot of knowledge for us to gain.....ok i am done typing GOOD LUCK!!!!!
