I barely know Jon, but here goes.
Earlier tonight I saw this post and the word "season" popped into my head but didn't think too much of it. Ethan and I went out to eat tonight and he was talking about "seasons". As we drove in the dark at 5:30 and was wondering why it was dark so soon. So as I sit here and am thinking about Jon and seasons here's what Is coming to me. There is season that I don't like very much and that is summer. The main thing is the heat and the dryness and dead grass, etc. But during the season that I don't like very much there is a whole lot that makes me happy and content. So If I could sum this rambling up, it would be to look around you and see all that makes you happy and content....This "season" won't last forever.

Jon - you are such a strong man, remember one of your past words, "a burden bearer". You carry the burdens for this family like nobody's business. You create a world where your wife and kids can be powerful and free because you carry the heavy stuff. Thank you for that. And I think God is looking down on you saying, "this is my son, in who I'm well pleased" You are taking such good care of us, be encouraged because there is rest for you! Rest is coming to you soon. I love you with all my heart and like I've said before, I couldn't do this without you.
