melissa: @jillian and leah- it's to give him more exercise. Huskies also are working dogs and like to have a job so we're giving him a job in carrying the pack. Chris wants to train him to pull things when he's older. We're thinking of getting a treadmill for him for more exercise too (to supplement the walks not replace them) hehe
