John, these things are all over town, each decorated differently. I think this one is an ES series model. Someone correct me if wrong. Shelly, my church is on Music Row and Thursday morn is my men's prayer group.

openjoe
:
I tried it without flash and couldn't see the flakes.

I remember my Mema telling me stories of having to stick their feet in them on their walk to school to keep warm when they didnt have shoes during the Great Depression.

Yeah, the fresh stuff can be warm, can't it? But these are cold, thus preserving the snow a few hours longer. Raleigh, there's actually a fence - I'm taking the picture between the wires, thus I can't play cow discus.

In cow dung sports, I imagine the only thing worse than missing the catch is making it.

lol Joe! Build me a house right in the middle of that field and I would be a happy camper.

Reminds me of one of my Christmas presents this year, I got a calendar with a photo of a different custom guitar for each month!

I'm afraid that would be a mighty pricey piece of real estate. Besides the man who owns that vows and declares he will not sell as long as he's living. He is over seventy but he looks very healthy.

openjoe
:
A guitar pinup calendar huh? Sounds interesting. I don't know if the scale is obvious but these models are about 8 feet tall.

Tastefully done. Does not arouse lust in me.

Yes Babs, it is. On another point I didn't know they had a Disneyland in Newbury Park. (After you fix it you can delete this. I don't mind.)

what a legacy...beautiful...interesting to see how many of your aunt blanche's paintings are still around...might be a fun roadtrip...

funny how, when you drive by them on a routine basis, things like giant guitars seem a normal part of the landscape...are they made of fiberglass?

...what if you stuck a little sunflower seed in each patty, just to surprise your neighbor in a few months? Carli, Joe would be just the man to build your dream home...

Shelly, she painted in churches probably during the 30's, 40's and 50's. There is some information on the web from the archive of one of the church colleges. I see this one says '66. I don't know how long she lived but she was probably around 80 then.

openjoe
:
I have never built a whole house, just fixed them up. I think I have one more fix up in me, then I just want to stay there.
at 01:18PM 01/17/08
openjoe
:
I think they must be fiberglass. They were part of a contest or promotion that took place several years ago.
at 01:19PM 01/17/08
shelly
:
contests are a clever way of getting people to do things for free in exchange for a slice of recognition...

:
Carli would probably have wanted an all-tile house, anyway...my ideal house would have a drain in the middle of the floor so you could hose it down every now and then...also good for crumb sweeping...
