cool beans.
i managed to move stuff around yesterday and connected my printer to my new (which i had to buy because the new computer couldn't talk to the old router) airport extreme and was able to get the computers talking to the printer without actually being physically connected to it -- which is quite an accomplishment for me. now if i could just figure out how to make a banner on esty i'd be all set -- lol. too bad the directions they give r for ppl using PCs and not macs

It's a little signal sent via command prompt to test the speed of the connection. I'll tell you this is real iffy right now. I'm trying out this connection that costs 60/month to see if it will work for me.

It work Susie. That's how come I can send these comments at all. Right now I am up on top of the hill. Not much better than in the house. Working on and off. Lots of mosquitos up here, that's for sure. I'm gonna try sending a pic from here.

Yeah, if there weren't so many bugs. Plus the wireless device didn't work any better up there than down here in the house. Oh well. I'm just experimenting.

The service is like 67.00 a month and it works wherever Verizon cell phones work. I am taking advantage of a free 30 day trial period. It works great in Nashville and in the small towns nearby, but way out here on Lower Lick Creek it is kind of iffy. It fades in and out. Well, I'm kind of surprised it works at all. I am trying to use voice over IP telephone service but the connection is a little too weak here. I'll try again tonight to use the telephone.
