Yeah, I know...it would have been a great morning to go, but I just couldnt motivate myself to dress in three layers, load the truck, drive 30 miles, walk 1/2 mile in the dark, sit in a cold deer blind, and hope something comes out.
If I killed anything I would then have to walk 1/2 mile back to the truck, hope the road is not too muddy so I don't get stuck, drag the deer to the road, put the deer in the truck by myself, take it to a processor, come home, shower, dress and go to work....
It was much better to stay in bed next to my wife.

Careful girl, don't pile them too high.
The number one cause of work place injury is having a stack of notebooks fall over on you trapping you under a mountain of notebooks.
Oh sure, alternating the notebooks facilitates stacking, but watch out, they are slick as ice and will topple over on you.
Always make sure you have your cell phone with you so you can call for help. If not, you may spend days trapped in notebook hell...don't want that.
