When I was pregnant 15 years ago, if it had not been for the boys around me who did hunt, I would have literally starved. I wasn't working and my husband was only making $7.00 an hour. They kept me in deer meat and we canned out of the garden.
So for me, the right to hunt is not a sport thing. There really are still people in this country who rely on what they kill to eat. I have known many over the years who did so.

she's the clarinet on the right. I played clarinet when I was young. She didn't know that when she decided to join band and chose the clarinet.
